Abstract

Yes, I am a crank, but bear with me. Face in the mud, eyes blind with dirt, lips caked with sand, skin wet with sweat. I am in a bad way. My gun, its barrel jammed with muck, is no better. A tall youth stands over me, shouting at me to move.
