On the pulsation mode of Mira variables: Nonlinear calculations compared with radii observations

Abstract

Observed radii of Mira variables are compared with theoretical nonlinear calculations. In contrast with previous works, the observed data is found to be compatible with the fundamental nonlinear mode of pulsation.
