Abstract

Poly‐tributyl and ‐triphenyltin esters or ethers were prepared by reaction of various natural and synthetic polymers containing carboxyl, sulfonic or hydroxyl groups with organotin chlorides, hydroxides or oxides. The biocidal properties of the polymers were investigated.
