Abstract

The supertransferred hyperfine field acting on 119Sn in YIG (209.5 ± 0.5 kOe) originates mainly from the tetrahedral iron first nearest neighbours. -2 ± 2 kOe and 13 ± 2 kOe are the respective contributions of farther octahedral and tetrahedral iron shells. The ratio of gexc/ go obtained from the present measurements is -0.2150 ± 0.0005.
