Abstract
The mechanism of oxygen adsorption on Y2O3 is further investigated. High energy donor levels are formed by doping with Eu and by UV irradiation in the presence of hydrogen. Electron distribution between these donor levels, which might be changed by irradiation, affects the rate of adsorption.
