Abstract

Application of parallel methods have become recently a general trend in information processing. We present a technique of parallel parsing of natural language which is based on distribution of elements of a sentence among a number of independent processors so that processing is carried out in parallel in multiple locations within a sentence. All the processors are identical, interchangeable and run the same software. An estimate of the time efficiency of this algorithm is given. The algorithm is suitable for parsing of ungrammatical and illformed sentences.
