Abstract
The lattice defects in the form of cation and anion vacancies are shown to result in a change of electron-phonon interaction of doped Ti3+ ions. This change is based on the investigation of Al2O3:Ti3+ low-temperature optical spectra and a temperature luminescence quenching.
