Abstract

The effect of uniaxial anisotropy upon penetration of the magnetic field into superconducting particles of a spherical shape has been studied within the London theory. At the low temperatures in the case of strong anisotropy the penetration of the magnetic field is governed by the largest penetration depth determined by the currents normal to the layers.
