Abstract
Objective: The research investigated the perceptions of school teachers in an Arab high school in Israel towards the educational counsellor, noting the extent to which they consult educational counsellors on professional and personal matters. Method: Sixty teachers participated in the research, divided equally between males and females. Quantitative methodology was employed, using a specially constructed questionnaire. Results: The main findings indicated that Arab teachers consult the educational counsellors more for professional than for personal matters. Further, there are no differences between female and male teachers consulting counsellors on professional and personal issues.
