Abstract

It has been established recently that only the geometrical percolation critical exponents are the same for lattice models and continuum systems. The physical processes, on the other hand, have critical behaviors which are determined by the microstructure of the system and the mechanism of the process. In this short review, the recent understanding of these behaviors will be described via the prototype processes of the electrical conduction and its fluctuations.
