Abstract
What's already known about this topic?Fetal anemia can develop in 2-13% of pregnancies following laser photocoagulation for twin-twin transfusion syndrome. In such cases, twin anemia-polycythemia sequence is the most common diagnosis that might mandate further interventions. What does this study add?We describe a case of placental hematoma following selective laser photocoagulation for twin-twin transfusion syndrome associated with post-therapy de novo donor twin anemia.
