Abstract
The fractal dimension, D, of the distribution of adsorbed molecules (malachite green, MG, the acceptor) is affected by morphological changes in the support, i.e. by the average pore size of silica. This was found by analysing the kinetics of one-step electronic energy transfer between adsorbed rhodamine B and MG according to the Klafter-Blumen equation.
