Abstract
The effect of a repulsive three-body NN force on the -N scattering lengths and the He4-H4 binding-energy difference is considered. It is found that a suitable three-body force strength needed to adjust the -N scattering lengths to the measured -p ones reduces substantially the additional Coulomb repulsion in He4. Some remarks are made concerning the charge-symmetry-breaking components of the -N interaction.
