Precision measurement of doppler shifts inspired by weak values

Abstract

Using a weak values inspired technique we achieve precision measurements of Doppler shifts down to 1 microHz. The technique employs the near-destructive interference of temporally incoherent pulses. This result is important for laser Doppler anemometry.
