Abstract
Present-day processes in this badland are described and the geomorphological environment of prehistoric time is reconstructed. Most of the erosion is post-Mousterian. There have been at least two erosive phases and one depositional phase in the last 80 000 years. The severe erosion is attributed to a past period with heavier rainfall events. -Keith Clayton
