Abstract

Quantum control experiments are conducted with automated shaping to investigate population transfer in LDS750 solutions. The pulse which minimizes fluorescence has nonlinear chirp, and appears to follow the dynamic Stokes shifting of emission. Differences between this pulse and one which maximizes transmission indicates the full picture may be more complex.
