Abstract
Employing the fluorescent dyes rhodamine 123 and fluorescein diacetate, the susceptibility of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and M. bovis BCG to rifampicin was measured by spectrofluorometry after 24 hours, and that of Staphylococcus aureus to penicillin G was measured after one hour.
