Abstract
The reactions of TeX4(where X = Cl, Br, or I) and RnTeCl4–n(where R = Ph or p-MeO·C6H4 and n= 1 or 2) with benzene, anthracene and its halogenated derivatives, 1,1-diphenylethylene, and triphenylphosphine have been investigated. Factors directing the reaction to telluration or chlorination are considered.
