Abstract
A claim recently made that all Σ-nuclear unstable bound states are unlikely on general grounds to produce peaks in one-baryon nuclear reactions such as (K-,π) is challenged by Morimatsu and Yazaki's observation that only those in the Σ continuum are irrelevant. This as well as other observations are rederived so as to clarify some limitations of and to suggest extensions beyond the present calculations.
