Abstract
Four Percus-Yevick equations for a two-component system in two dimensions have been solved numerically. The system consists of "water-like" and "Lennard-Jones" particles, and serves to represent aqueous solutions of simple non-polar solutes. It is shown that the phenomenon of hydrophobic interaction may be simulated in this system.
