Abstract
The self-interacting Dirac field of the NambuJona-Lasinio Lagrangian is considered. Solitary-wave hedgehog solutions are found numerically. The properties of the classical fields are studied and their connection to the chiral quark-pion Lagrangian case is pointed out.
