Abstract

Presents a solution of the Thomas-Fermi-Dirac-Weizsacker equation with three-centre boundary conditions for the molecules H₂O and SO ₂. The solution is compared with previous results using the simple Thomas-Fermi model and with LCAO/MO calculations.
