Abstract

Chapter 13 discusses the ethics of suicide that revolve around the justification of an intervention policy: general prevention of potential suicidal acts and applying life-saving measures to people who have made attempts on their lives, as well as the role in certain jurisdictions of assisting someone to suicide in special circumstances.
