Abstract

Several of the main issues discussed at the Shimoda International Symposium on Hypernuclear and Strange Particle Physics are reviewed. Recent progress in both experiment and theory in several areas is highlighted. These include polarization and weak decay of Λ hypernuclei, bound ε{lunate} hypernuclear few body systems, ΛΛ hypernuclei and dibaryons, and K nuclear interactions.
