Abstract

We solve the BCS gap equation for a momentum-dependent Bardeen-Pines (Frohlich) potential, including the strong-coupling renormalization. We find solutions for negative as well as positive values of the coupling constant λ, and we find solutions antisymmetric in k-kF as well as the well-known symmetric ones. We discuss salient features of these solutions.
