Abstract

Bioerodible polymers have found increasing use in a number of areas in medicine. This report describes new types of bioerodible polymers: soluble aromatic copolyanhydrides and amino acid based polyanhydrides and polyesters, for use in controlled drug delivery; and poly(propylene fumarate) composites for bone repair applications.
