Abstract

2‐(p‐Styryl)‐4‐carboxyquinoline (vinyl cincophen), its 6‐methyl and 6,7‐benzo derivatives, p‐formylstyryl thiosemicarbazone, and p‐vinyl‐DL‐threo‐β‐phenylserine were synthesized and polymerized.
