Abstract

Synthesis is described of a series of peptide derivatives which corresponds to positions 90‐93 in the primary structure of horse heart Cytochrome C. The preparation of the partially protected tetrapeptides: benzyloxycarbonyl‐L‐glutamyl‐L‐arginyl‐L‐glutamyl‐L‐aspartyl‐hydrazide trifluoroacetate and γ ‐t‐butyl‐L‐glutamyl‐L‐arginyl‐γ‐t‐butyl‐L‐glutamyl‐β‐t‐butyl‐L‐aspartyl‐t‐butyloxycarbonylhydrazide acetate is described.
