Abstract

The use of integral data to test or even to modify neutron cross-sections has been popular for almost a decade. This article describes recent tests performed on the new ENDF-B/3 evaluated neutron cross-sections compilation. Fifteen ″clean″ measurements of critical masses of bare and reflected, plutonium and uranium spheres serve as integral data. The numerical results are presented and discussed.
