Abstract

In this invited presentation we will discuss the technologies developed by INSPACE in order to support the operation of spectrally-spatially flexible optical networks, focusing on spatial integration of elastic optical network switching elements, in a way that their use can be shared efficiently by parallel elastic WDM systems running over multiple spatial dimensions.
