Abstract

A possible charging scheme based on the Aumann-Shapley (A-S) price mechanism applied on the expected queue size as a function of the arrival rate was suggested. The mechanism was demonstrated on a single server queue with Poisson arrivals under various queueing disciplines. A number of appealing properties of the A-S price mechanism were explored.
