Abstract
Discusses the famous drachm kept in the British Museum and known as “The First Jewish Coin”. It is considered by some scholars to be a unique and unparalleled representation of the God of Israel (Yahweh). The paper argues that this coin was minted in Samaria and could represent the image of a Samarian Yahweh
