Describes the reactions of French Jewry (institutions and individuals), as well as reactions of non-Jewish French intellectuals and political activists in regard to the Jews and antisemitism. Discusses the role of the Dreyfus Affair in the development of antisemitism in France and in other countries, and the reactions of world Jewry to these developments.
