Abstract

As in superfluid 4He1, the excitation spectrum of a Bose-Einstein condensate should give much insight into the system. This paper reports the first measurement of the excitation spectrum, as well as the static structure factor. The excitation spectrum gas been measured by Bragg spectroscopy.
