Abstract

The article discusses the Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), an example of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as partnership for peace. It notes that the MD has been positive and will continue to promote cooperation if Iran's power projection and drive to obtain nuclear weapons quickly and Israel's determination to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. It states that practices of dialogue and cooperative security started by NATO, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the European Union are still crucial.
