Abstract

Since 1979 an ecologically oriented plant data-base of the Israeli flora has been developed to describe the biology, geographical distribution, and ecological characteristics of each wild plant found in Israel (2810 species). Parameters include ecological attributes such as growth form, flowering time, abundance, seed production, chorotype, endemism, spinescence, flower color, and detailed distribution. -from Authors
