Abstract

The rate constant for the oxidation reaction of Ti(III) by hydrogen atoms has been measured in competition with the abstraction reaction of deuterated isopropanol. From yield measurements of HD and H₂ a rate constant of 4.2 × 10⁷ M^-1 was determined.
