Abstract

The author is dealing in this paper with problems related to the history of psycho-physiology. The author, being a physician, was mainly interested in the relation between soul and body, in the problem of the 'seat' of the soul, the elective organ (or organs) where the soul 'acts into' the body (as Descartes said). He tries to study this question through the works of Jewish medieval authors, up to the 12th century.
