The chapter will include: (a) a discussion of the unique issues of adolescents with ADHD; (b) hypothesized enabling factors that promote satisfying participation in life roles and quality of life, factors that will be presented from Occupational Therapy (OT) and cognitive rehabilitation conceptual models that provide a theoretical framework for understanding and addressing the challenges of adolescents with ADHD; and (c) the proposed integrative Teen Cog-Fun treatment protocol along with case studies to illustrate the treatment process and enabling factors.
