Abstract
We show that the high temperature part of the TiBe2 low field magnetic susceptibility is much more suitable, at present, for the understanding of its physical nature than the low temperature part. The necessity for electron-electron correlations is demonstrated and their role in the susceptibility is estimated via the Onsager reaction-field model. The need to calculate the Lindhard function based on the band structure is emphasized.
