Abstract
Chapter 10 considers future studies of the dynamic relations between corruption, resistance, and democratic decline. The subject matter does not fit the “static” format of classical comparative politics. What is therefore called for is a map, suggesting to interested readers how and what to examine should they wish to pursue the subject. The chapter offers methodological perspectives and examples of how the questions they raise could lead to hypotheses about the dynamics of corruption, resistance, and democratic decline in societies other than those considered so far.
