Abstract
The frozen core version of the Hartree-Fock approximation has been employed to calculate a large number of s-p and p-d oscillator strengths for BI, CII, NIII and OIV. With the exception of transitions originating in the ground 2p-state (which require a multi-configuration treatment), the present results are generally in good agreement with experimental, as well as with other theoretical, determinations.
