Abstract
Thermodynamic functions for chemical reactions of state-selected reactants to state resolved products are introduced and discussed. The equilibrium constant, change in free energy and other thermodynamic functions can all be computed using standard thermochemical tables without any kinetic input. It is also shown that the usual type of thermodynamic cycles can be employed for reactions even when the reactants and/or products are state-selected.
