Abstract

Ethanol pressurized at elevated temperatures in the subcritical state and at supercritical states has found uses in many processes, including fuel valorization and extraction of bioactive solutes from diverse sources. Therefore, its solubility parameters, both the total (Hildebrand) and partial (Hansen) parameters at the corresponding states are of interest and are evaluated in this work.
