Abstract

The semantic web phase of the worldwide web development has started. One stage of this development is the creation of virtual servers that extend the usability of Web Services to include complex and composite tasks. A system that implements a virtual server through a Virtual Web Server is suggested; this server uses DAML-S (OWL-S) and a Semantic Match Maker with an improved ranking algorithm to build on-demand Web Service composition from various Web Service sources.
