Abstract

Concentrations of Ca, Fe, Cu and Zn in liposomal doxorubicin were determined using diagnostic X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (DXS). No processing of the liposomes was required. This method was applied successfully for quality control of different liposomal formulations.
