Abstract

This article discusses training for policy makers; it focuses on a politically incorrect subject, which is the training of rulers in grand-policy thinking. A proposed core curriculum for the training is provided. The core curriculum covers a number of factors, such as being able to separate policy and politics, and achieving some form of intellectual and behavioural integration and absorption of different subjects. At the end of the article, several training requirements are presented.
