Tre figure paradigmatiche della tradizione del Collegio Rabbinico Italiano: Samuel D. Luzzatto, Isaac S. Reggio e Lelio Della Torre

L’articolo presenta una riflessione sulle figure di Samuel David Luzzatto, Isaac Samuel Reggio e Lelio Della Torre. L’autore riprende qui un tema svolto nella relazione presentata in ebraico al Convegno tenutosi nel secondo centenario dalla nascita di Samuel David Luzzatto: Leshon soné chazav’ ba-shirà, ba-mechkar u-va-chazon – kavvim li-demutò shel Shemuel David Luzzatto (‘Una lingua che non conosce falsità’ nella poesia, nella ricerca accademica, nella visione – pennellate per l’immagine di Samuel David Luzzatto). Il filo che ricollega quelle tre figure tra loro è la prassi educativa. Essa ci riporta alla missione di educatore di rav. Giuseppe Laras di b.m. che in quanto tale deve essere ricordato da chi, nella scala degli ideali umani, veda proprio la missione dell’educatore situata al suo vertice. The article presents a reflection on the figures of Samuel David Luzzatto, Isaac Samuel Reggio and Lelio Della Torre. Here, the author reexamines a theme in the Hebrew-language report at the Conference held in Second Centenary of the birth of Samuel David Luzzatto, “A Tongue that Knows No Falsehood” – Luzzatto’s Poetry, Scholarship, and Vision. The thread that connects these three figures among them is the educational practice. It brings us back to the mission of educator of Rabbi Joseph Laras, of blessed memory, to be remembered by everybody who sees the mission of educator at the top of the scale of human values.
