Abstract

The influence of methylene‐blue on the turbidity of suspensions of copper montmorillonite at various wavelengths was studied. Methylene‐blue is a coloured molecule and this leads to anomalies in light scattering of the montmorillonite‐methylene‐blue complex. Turbidity changes inversely with particle size.
