Abstract

Through a questionnaire, follows up earlier studies of developments in the Arab sector to determine how strong the demand is for extension, how effective it is, what role leadership qualities play in adoption, and if there are any differences between Nazareth and Gaza. Finds that the farmers rate the service they receive highly, and that "leaders' tend to be those with large landholdings in Nazareth, while in Gaza it is the better educated who are most likely to be interested in innovation. -M.Amos
